A Journey of Faith and Transformation at Happy Word of Life Christian School

After just eight weeks since opening its doors, Happy Word of Life Christian School continues to be a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness, guidance, and provision. With an enrollment of 103 eager learners, the school is growing—not just in number, but in spiritual impact, unity, and resilience.

From day one, God’s hand has been evident. While challenges have surfaced—like a major power outage on the second day of school—the staff and community have pressed forward in prayer and dependence on Him. One major prayer request now is the urgent need for a transformer to stabilize power on campus. We ask that you join us in praying that the Lord will provide this essential need soon.

But the heart of this school is more than infrastructure—it’s about transforming lives through the love of Jesus.

One moving story emerged in just the second week of school, when a Muslim mother visited with her three children. Curious about enrollment, she asked if her children could be exempt from religious teachings. A thoughtful conversation unfolded. The children, who spoke fluent English, were excited and engaged. Their mother was open and respectful. When told that faith and the Gospel are the foundation of the school, she responded graciously and asked for a conversation between her husband and the school team. Although he never returned, the children heard the truth of Jesus. Seeds were planted, and hearts were touched.

This is just one example of many. Every day, students and their families are encountering the Gospel—some for the first time. Parents are being encouraged, and children are being discipled in truth and love. As staff, we count it a privilege to stand at the door and welcome those God brings, no matter their background. We believe that each child who walks through these doors has been sent by the Lord.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14

We are humbled by what God is doing. What began as a small vision is now a living ministry touching hearts and changing lives. And this is just the beginning.
