Building Futures Together — Help Us Meet the Final Needs for Happy Word of Life Christian School
Saturday, May 24, 2025 by The Hicks Family

At One Heart Journey, we believe in the power of unity and generosity to transform lives — and we have amazing news to share!

Thanks to your overwhelming support and heartfelt contributions, the construction goal for Happy Word of Life Christian School has been met! The school buildings are now standing as a testament to what faith, love, and community can accomplish when we come together for a cause greater than ourselves.

But the journey isn’t over just yet.

While the walls have gone up and the vision is becoming reality, there are still a few essential items needed before this incredible school can fully serve its mission of educating and nurturing the next generation.

Immediate Needs

To complete the setup of the school and ensure a functional, welcoming environment for students and teachers, we need to raise $6,000. This amount will cover the following remaining essentials:

  • Teachers DesksChairs for Teachers’ Desks

  • Computer Lab PCs & Printer

  • 4 Air Conditioners (6 have already been purchased)

  • Refrigerator

  • Microwave

These may seem like small items, but they play a critical role in creating a conducive learning and teaching environment. Imagine the ripple effect — a teacher empowered with the right tools, a child learning in comfort, and a community uplifted through education.

Your Impact

Every dollar you give helps build more than just classrooms — it builds dreams, futures, and a brighter tomorrow for countless children. Your blessings are changing this world one child at a time.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To each and every one of you who has given, prayed, or spread the word: THANK YOU. Your generosity has brought us this far, and with just a little more help, we can cross the finish line together.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Let’s rejoice in what’s been done, and keep pressing forward. Will you partner with us one more time to help us meet these final needs?

With gratitude and hope,
