June 16, 2025 — what a powerful and emotional first day of school! With 100 students now enrolled, Happy Word of Life Christian School opened its doors with prayers, laughter, and even a few tears of joy. For days, we were at 99 students — and we kept declaring in faith, “The one is coming!” True enough, Jesus brought us a fourth grader on the very first day!

Our campus came alive with color, smiles, and the buzz of learning. Classrooms were filled with eager students and dedicated teachers, making each moment count.

Of course, no first week is without surprises! On Day 2, a little one accidentally got locked in the restroom and screamed like a champ — don’t worry, we found the key fast and saved the day (and their lungs)!

We’re beyond grateful to every supporter, and partner who gave sacrificially for this mission. Because of your love, the children of Ozamiz City have a joyful and Christ-centered place to grow and learn.
